Mohammed
Mrabet's writings often illustrate the disruptive influences of western
culture on the ancient patterns of Muslim life in Morocco. Since the
mid '90's, Mrabet has mostly concentrated his output into drawings,
sketches and felt tip paintings and he sometimes holds his own
exhibitions, now mostly in Tangier and Spain, where his artwork is very
popular. Mrabet's artwork is available for purchase in Tangier and
Marrakesh. He lives with his family
in Souani, near Casa Barata in Tangier.
