This is a newly assembled collection of fifteen Mrabet stories. These stories have been previously published over a period of ten years in 'The Boy Who Set the Fire' (City Lights, 1974), 'Harmless Poisons Blameless Sins' (Black Sparrow Press, 1976), 'The Beach Cafe and The Voice' (Black Sparrow Press, 1980) and 'The Chest' (Tombouctou, 1983).
